The Video Archive captures some filmed and televised King James ’s School or Old Almondburians’ Society activities over the years. Please note that the early material is
derived from original footage shot on 8 mm film or recorded on VHS video, and
the quality may therefore be variable.

OLD ALMONDBURIANS' AFC v OLD MODERNIANS (1968)
The soccer match between the Old Almondburians and the Leeds-based Old
Modernians was always a keenly contested fixture. Shot around 1968 by Dave
Bush, this clip shows the match in progress at Old Modernians, and a few of the
Old Almondburians players - who include Dave Bush himself - are just
recognisable.
The early frames give nostalgic views of Wakefield Road at Waterloo (look out
for the old Waterloo Cinema on the right), and there's also a shot of
Rushworth's Corner with its familiar rotating clock.
